King O'War	Posted - 2009.02.23 19:32:00 - [1] When will we be able to test the preium light client, just want to double check to see if my laptop will be sufficent to run eve still. The premium graphics dont work so well lol. However someone told me that if your graphics card has a certain characteristic it should be able to play the premium light client well. My laptop runs 3 eve clients with ease, just lacking in the graphic card department. Any tips or info would be much apprechiated. Thanks

Thanks Premium Lite has been available with the test patches for Apocrypha since it first went live. There is no longer any selection for classic with the latest patches.

Fumen	Posted - 2009.02.23 19:56:00 - [4] I'd have to dig up patch numbers, but prior releases had lite content that could be enabled/disabled with the 'scene 2' check box. Current releases (as of the 17th or about) no longer have the option. All clients now have to run the premium graphics. I believe those that support SM3 can switch between the two model versions. (I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.)
