Same here- neverending loading bar with "Entering game as Amael...". I've tried using the shortcut for undocking, clearing my chache & settings but nothings working

ok guys, do you have shadows on?
lets test something. Turn it off and try logging in again.

Update: Just got a message saying "Your character is in Vey which is currently stuck- please select another character... " blah blah blah and then the client lost its connection

Update again: I'm now getting the "system is starting up" message when I try to log in... and YAY! I'm in 
MotherMoon- yeah I've all shadows off and all graphics settings as low as possible

OOh . . . after turning off shadows it worked !!!!! and i got the items i ordered hours ago . . .

its gonna implode Just as I finally decided to dl that huuge patch file and actually see what all the fuzz was about with the new ships and all the glorious stuffs
edit: shadows off = login in fine
