I've searched for a while uni this forum and on eve-search and cant find my answer (even though I know I've seen it - maybe different forum?)
What ships are recommended to do the mission levels?
I thought it was:
Level 1 - Frigates
Level 2 - Cruisers
Level 3 - Battlecruisers
Level 4 - Battleships
Level 5 - ??
Is this right? I know destroyers can also do Level 1's... I'm more interested in the Level 3 missions. I did several in a crusier but they took forever for my cruiser to destroy the 13 other cruisers!
Should I be going into a Battlecruiser to take it down faster or would some acceleration gates stop me getting in?

Lvls 3 are made for battlecruisers yiu can always enter lvl3 gates with a BC.

Lvl 1 - Destroyers, they are faster than frigate.
Lvl 2 - Assault frigates - fokkin' faster then cruiser.
Lvl 4 - Command ship is faster. Can be easily done in hac (good for low sec due to small chance to be probed)
Lvl 5 - Machariel or Vagabond on some of them(from my experience :P)

Battlecruisers are best for L3 missions.
You're mostly right with that list, but the T2 ships can do missions designed for bigger ships, like using assault frigs for L2 or even L3 missions, and HACs for L4s. I usually use the Ishtar for L4 missions and it works really well.
The L5 missions are best done in a fleet, like having a ship to tank it all and other ships to kill off the npcs...

Yeah,
Thats what I thought, but I dont want to go into BC until I can field T2 lasers, so I'm a week or two off that still.... :(
Looks like I'll run a few more L2 misisons in the cruiser to occupy my time... or maybe mine a bit to fund my new shiny harbinger with t2 lasers!!

Its better to skill your gunery supportskills first.....its more important then T2. T1 with supported skills does more dmg then T2 whitout.
