I have a hulk, I am getting 1248m3 per strip per cycle.
thats using tech 2 strippers, tech 1 crystals and MLU2.
I know i should be getting alot more from my lasers, i hear some peeps are getting 1600m3+ somehow.
My Skills: mining 5
Astrogeology 5
Exhumers 3
Is there any other skills which directly or indirectly affect ore yield?
I don't have any speciality implants installed.
Which ones should i be looking out for to maximise my mining potential?
Are there any other ways to increase ore yield besides the above and mining foremen or drones?

Maxing Exhumers will give you an additional yield (6%?), training for T2 Crystals will also increase the yield (Eg Velspar processing 4), then all you're left with are gang bonuses and implants.
If you have an alt hauler, train him up with Leadership 1 and Mining forman for an additional 2%/level, with the intention of going for an Orca (Mining Director, Warfare link specialist?) to get the additonal mining link bonuses.
That should max out at near 2000m3/cycle, and a reduced cycle time (~149 Secs) with the right links.

yup, t2 crystals is an easy fix as is the passive bonuses under leadership for the mining forman skill. Only exhumers 3 is also causing you to not get as much ore as you can.

Or come mine with me and my alt..
Currently without the Michi's This character is over 1700 cm per laser per cycle with a minimum cycle time.. My other pilot is a maxed orca pilot.. makes a huge difference because he cust cycle time by 25.2%
I have not done the per minute calc, but I dont think it gets much better without the michi and level 5 on the ICS.
