Garde II or Curator II?
and does Drone sharpshooting affect sentries?

Sentry Drones requires Drone Sharpshooting level 4, take a wild guess...

How much more damage are Curator's going to do over Garde's to Blood Raiders...assuming both are hitting the target?

Garde II
dps: 495
range: 47079km
falloff: 12km
curator II
dps: 402
Range: 82398km
falloff: 24km
don't know blood resists, so not sure what is best.

Curator II. Better tracking, optimal and bloods are weak to EM if I'm remembering right.
Drone sharpshooting does effect sentry drone optimal range, but there is a catch. The target must be inside your drone control range for the sentries to fire at it on command. |

Damage will be about equal on most things, curators might do better against HACS though. Better just to choose the drone that fits the mission ranges better, or take both if you can fit them. And yes, Drone Sharpshooting does effect sentries.

Garde sentry has better dps against Blood Raiders because of the damage modifier on it. Tried ratting with both Amarr and Gallente drones against Blood Raiders, and even though EM is their weakest resist the damage modifier on the gallente drones makes them do more dps. Only reason to go for Curator II is the range they have so you can snipe them until they're in range of the Garde II. (unless you get a spawn that orbits outside Garde optimal/falloff.)

Dmg mod progression is different on the sentries compared to the normal drones. Your argument is invalid for sentries.

I've lived in bloodraider space for a long time, tested both Garde II's and Curator II's on them. In, lets say, 85% of the cases you want Curators because of the range bloodraiders (mainly the battleships) tend to keep. If its about lots of smaller stuff, definately go with Gardes. If your not sure, go with Curators.
