so there I was with a friend doing a mission in highsec when one guy warps in, and loots a wreck.
my bud opens fire on him, then a few sec later a bs warps in and proceeds to attack him as well as the first ship.
needless to say, he lost his bs, due to the npc aggro of a level 4 mission plus the additional raven and cruiser damage.
My question though is how was this able to happen?
i understand that if soemone loots your wreck, they become flagged to you, OK, but how was the other guy able to attack as well?
was it because they obviously were in fleet?
or was it cause they were in the same corp?

The guy he attacked just docked up and gabbed his BS ganking ship and came back out. He has 15 min to dock up and get his ship and get back out to you before the aggression drops. More then enough time to gank your friend.
Edit: miss read sorry yeah he was probably in the same corp as the guy that was shot at... sorry

actually no, this is not a troll.
and actually no the first guy did not leave
i was there the whole time until i was destroyed for trying to remote armor rep him.
the origional guy did not leave the scene atall, and the bs warped to 0 onto him.

he appears blinky red
"your friend" aggros the blinky red BS and learns an expensive lesson.

Same corp doesn't give shoot rights to the second pilot, unless the mission runner took back the can the original flipped.
Or took back a can in a previous mission, less than 15 minutes prior.....
Or the BS pilot could have brought in the BS and ejected, which the cruiser pilot then boarded. The mission runner may not have seen that the cruiser never fired again....

On the off chance you're no troll, but I still think you are 
He didn't actually attack him, what he did was RR him so he got flagged to your 'friend', now all he has to do is drop a can, name it "you" and scramble it. Your 'friend' now sees a red flashing BS 'scrambling' him and in his panic switches from the small unimportant ship to the BS trying to defend himself. He's now flagged to the other guy in the BS who can then shoot him to bits.
OR he leaves out the RRing part but simply flips a wreck/can then does the naming/scrambling trick again.
