I've heard both sides of the coin now: that there aren't and are moons in wormspace you can mine.
I am looking to hear, specifically from the developers, whether or not moons in wormspace ON TRANQUILITY will be seeded with moon materials like they are in known space. I'm not concerned with the logistics of doing this, I'm not concerned with the required setups or any other theorcrafting: just whether the moons will have materials in them or not.

The devs already stated that you would be able to put up POS's in WH space which means there have to be moons; weather or not they have any mats on them i guess is for them to know and us to find out

the real question ..... why would you ..... with no stable supply line why would you set up a pos when there is a good possibility that you may never get back to it once you leave system.

The Devs will NOT respond to this thread. They never respond to these threads. You will just have to wait till the expansion is released and find out for yourself.

if you read through the thread that is attached to the dev blog on WH, they said in there that you can anchor POS's in WH space and that there may or may not be resources to gather.
As for the why would you want to put a POS in WH space? the way I see it WH's are probably the ultimate anti blob tool. There is a finite amount of ships you can push through before it collapse and it has a very low probability of re-spawn in the same place.
So if a small corp. finds a decent WH system linked in say Venal, and the mass is appropriate to move a few rigged itty 5s or a jump freighter you could move a small group of players plus the resources to run a death star for a couple months.
Because no one in their right mind is going to put a cap fleet of any decent size through a WH you will basically only face sub cap gangs. a small corp. can then effectively defend itself from a larger alliance or corp. in WH space. And the rewards are T3 components, mining if there are any decent roids and if there are moon minerals there then it's another bonus.
The logistics of getting the goods out of the space are daunting but again itĘs very doable. LetĘs say your new exit WH takes you to the ass end of MM space. You can try and sneak the stuff out or you can try and make a deal with the locals. Who wouldnĘt want T3 components and moon goo at decent discount?
Over time you could build up some serious infrastructure in WH system making it a fortress.

Don't forget, W-space has at least ONE exit at any time but can have 2, 3 or even 4 when you win the big price. If one hostile entity gets into your wormhole you will have to compete with that entity to control those 1 to 4 (and possibly more, there is no limit announced) wormholes. So while building a fortress might be a good idea it is not equal to an "I WIN" button.
If one big alliance would really want to do this they could actually build dreads, carriers, motherships and even titans in W-Space using poses of their own. Ofc the question everybody should ask themselves before doing so is: Is the rewards great enough to risk it?
I think CCP will stick to the answer they provided in many different threads about similar stuff.

You can't build supercaps as they req sov and there is no sov claiming in wormspace...
