Merin, I think my Enyo will be somewhat properly skilled for within 10 days or so.
lololololololol
Crosstraining for Gallente T2 frig with T2 hybrid takes at least 18 days. What's so funny?
the hilarious part is that he thinks he's competent with a ship he's never flown fully skilled, that he's got the audacity to think he can take down a phantasm, that he's fitting an AB on his AF... want me to keep going? i thought the lol's made it short and sweet.

I've played back and fourth since 2003, despite popular belief EVE isn't exactly rocket science (or wait, it is but you get the point) and a ship especially as straight forward as an AB enyo is easy to learn. Especially so if you've already been flying gallente frigs for quite some time.
Secondly you have absolutely no idea what tactics or exact modules I intend to employ, you're just jumping to conclusions and bad ones at that. I on the other hand have a fairly good view of the opposition that I'm up against, although one can never be sure.
If anyone here is making a display of his or her audaciousness it's you, jumping to conclusions of which you have no basis for whatsoever. Why don't you go and try farming those 1337 forum e-peen points somewhere else?

MWD Frigate vs AB one - MWD dictate the range outside the scram range, AB - inside.
AB ones usually win in 1 vs 1. I spent half a year in lowsec in a rifter with AB. Tryed MWD, but with no ability of controlling the range it wasn't good.
If i warp in the belt and found myself more than 20 km from a frig or 25 from a cruiser, i warp out.
MWD doesn't give an ability to disengage - even hulks in lowsec are fitted with scrams.
Btw MWD doesn't work in deadspaces.
ya bro, i'm sure you were flying your ab/scram rifter in lowsec for longer than half a year
before the nano nerf

I flyed rifter before and after QR.
I said that AB gives possibility to control the range in the scram range, this is QR feature =)
Before QR I cought a claw (with ACx3 and rocket launcher). My rifter was fitted X5 web. When claw's pilot understood that he can't kill me, he just overloaded the MWD and warped out. Snake set :(

Just for the record: the mystery module Psir was planning to "win" with? A WCS.
Yes, that's the concession that the only advantage an AB setup gives you is the ability to warp out when you inevitably lose. I think I'll just fit my MWD and try to win the fight, not just avoid dying. -----------

I respect if you wish to dismiss it for the sacrifice of a lowslot. The scan res hit doesn't have much of an impact unless you plan on gatecamping in 0.0 or wish to catch pods, the loss of range is absolutely neglible.
It allows you to go for say a Harpy that's on an object, should you land too far off and not be able to align back out before being tackled. Just warp off. Versus scrambler fits (the only instance where that lack of lowslot may kill you) you can still do fairly well, depending on which AF exactly you fly. You're loosing maybe 10-15% DPS OR tank, comparing the stats in the case of the Enyo to a other AF's and you'll still be looking very strong in comparison.
I'd happily engage targets more freely in a ship that I enjoy to fly and hence see more action at the price of loosing an otherwise even fight once in a while. Not having to wait months just to break the tank on a BC with a mere 100dps is just an added bonus.
