oh well there goes my rep lol, well you cant expect me to know everything after just 2 weeks playing. just presumed as there are named level 1's there would be 2 also.

named level 2 is not out.
The best there is is faction loot, which sometimes is better then tech2, sometimes worse, but has the advantage of ebing based on the tech 1 skill requirements. But there are no faction mining lasers... so miner 2's are the best there is out there.
Oh, and even if there would be better ones, a two week old player can forget about being able to afford them since they would be hugely expensive at start.
