Given the fact there is only 1 probe now, which is freaking awesome that does the job of all the old ones, are all of our old probes going to be turned into new ones?
Also, are the BPO's going to change into the new BPO or will they be erased from the game. These questions we must know!!!, well, I would like to know.

I went on to the test server to see what was the fate of my probes and all of them were gone along with all of the BPO's. I am sure that it is nice to have but one probe but all of the research and effort shouild not end up with nothing to show for it.

I THINK that is a bug (or a bad joke of CCP). In the previous mirror the old BP and probes had been converted into the three types of probes of apocrypha.
Anyway I bug reported it.

Sisi:
In a first try all types of BP-Original/BP-Copy/Items was merged to one type (having 16 researched BPOs of 1 type);
The next try did delete alle BPOs/BPCs/Items... 
You can see CCP is testing a solution for the problem 
Ok. - it is on Sisi, and CCP has much more trouble: 11 days before delivery many of the core features of M10 are not finished and this should have priority.
Normaly we should have 1..2 month with balance - but most effort at Sisi is done for "new effects," because the kernel is not usable...

Stardock and Ironclad seems to have pulled off the same thing with thier new entrenchment release for sins of a solar empire. The beta 3 they released was horribly buggy to the point of unplayability and still lacked alot of published features so the forums started to rebel but then just a few days later they release the retail code and all is well with no bugs or otherwise noticible glitches along with the full advertised feature set. Its almoast like they had it planned that way to generate some drama. CCP was the same way with the delayed local in w-space stance they gave in that they stated it wasn't something that was planned or even being worked on for m10 and kept reinforcing that stance by saying that in the threads about it but then out of nowhere *poof* there it is *snicker snicker*.

I'd like to know what will happen to all the probes as well, expecially the high-end Sisters probes.
I spent quite some time amassing a large number of Sisters probes to aid in exploration. Then the war in Delve heated up and I'm unable to use them. It would be quite a shame to see those rare probes turned into some 10-cent knockoff.

do the new probes cost more to create? someone try reprocessing it to see what it takes to build?
