I play apocrypha in the test server, i cant believe they dont make nothing about the super horrid tiny text in UI INTERFACE, 2560 x 1600 is impossible play the fonts are terrible small in 12 size and expanded (font expanded its a joke)so I need put my face direclty in the monitor for see the text font. and the warp drive are to static, the ship dont have animation movements, in the regular games the ship have excelent movement in a warps but in apocrypha dont dont have aminations and i feeling in my ships no sensation of movement and that is off the realism in the game. sorry for my english is poor
I Know some fanatic people say here , (hey man yore wrongs i play in 2560 x 1600 perfect in size fonts) but that is not true

I mostly agree. Right now we can only change the font size for chat channels - this is nuts, as if we needed to make the chat font bigger then we'd need to make ALL fonts bigger. I can't see a single possible reason why you would not want to change all font sizes simultaenously.
As for warping animations, there is something not quite right yet. I like the new graphic, but there's just not the same sensation of speed. I also like the fact that as your ship slows down the animation disappears (just as if you'd dropped out of whatever mechanism our ships use to move that fast), but I miss the vibration as your ship comes back into normal space. ---

I play in 5040x1050 and the fonts are way, way too small. -

I play on a 7500x2800 res and can't understand why the dr says i'm going blind. For the love of god, turn your resolution down and maybe your mouse pointer won't look like a dot. ------------------------------------

Not really an option on a TFT. mhm, saying that sounds familiar. I think I already said so in his last post ...
Anyways, I agree the fonts could be a little bigger. Some options on fontsize would be really nice.
BUT if you really have problems reading text in eve I honestly would like to suggest having your eyes checked up. No trolling - I believe you have a valid point here, but I'm also quite certain that you should be able to read the fonts even in 2560 widescreen resolutions with good eyesight.

I run across three screens (hence the weird resolution) and this necessitates that unlike most gamers, I actually sit a reasonable distance from my screen. I have no problems reading standard font sizes in my OS and can read my overview/scanner just fine. However, there is no reason not to have adjustable font sizes.
Get over yourself. -

I think the point to be made is why should ccp waste time programing for the few of you who use ungodly resoultions?
They may get around to it someday when more people have the issue, but for the most part they tend to focus on the need of the many over the few.
It's a question of justifiable rescource usage.

Having a UI developer write code to allow changes in font size would not necessitate taking developer time away from other features (this point is immutable, and several reputable books have been written on the fallacy of "man hours" and programming). I also don't consider my resolution to be ridiculous; each screen is running at 1680x1050 (pretty much the standard for any 19-21" screen), and even then the text is really too small on many of the menus.
I can live with it, but given that there are teams of developers already working on UI elements and nothing else, why can a feature like this not make "the list"? It's only going to become a bigger problems as time goes on, so it's entirely justifiable to request this feature now so that like most, we might see it implemented in 2-3 years time. The code to change font sizes is already there anyway (see chat window), it's just a case of making this global rather than specific to that instance. -

Hey if you can convince ccp to work on it more power to you. That's what F&I is all about.
