well if you auto updated IE7 IE 7 no longer suports that kind of drop down. so its kind of hard for them to exactly fix it.

Which is why no-one uses IE7... it's a load of crap with a sticker on it that says: Browser.

Unfortunately the new, improved sidebar still renders in both Firefox and Google Chrome. I have not been testing functionality of it since I made bookmarks for the forums I visit.

Problem with FF is it has memory leaks and actually renders images kind of slow compared to IE or Chrome. Personally I just use IE7 because I'm a webmaster and I need to see my sites the same way my visitors see them. (to avoid things like the current issue with this site's nav bar)

And its now fixed,
but people need to understand that so many non tech sites run on IE and so many non tech people use IE that it has to be the standard til something else breaks in. I use chome but I was surprised yesterday when chome closed down when trying to watch Hulu on it(I use IE and chome). Also I have online college for my masters degree that only supports IE(chome and FF work but sometimes things don't work).
So till the day that Linex is the standard operating system everyone will have to suck it up and use IE. Or ***** about how no one will use their site.

Yea that and IE is of course not compliant with internet standards. Hence the reason it causes these kinds of errors. However IE8 is supposed to finally be fully compliant with w3 standards. Yet there will likely still be people using IE6 5 years from now lol.
