Not sure what a good amount per hour should be getting but after I finished mining today and refined it, if I just sold the minerals, I figured that I made around 9.3 mill an hour. Going by the prices in the area I was in at the time.

veldspar atm is worth over 3M per full jetcan. a good hulk pilot should get at least 4 cans per hour.

::nods:: That's light, but not horribly so. Put a survey scanner on your Hulk and you can be a little more efficient. Just strip the big rocks that are worth your time.
With someone right there to haul for you, you should be bringing in about 12M/hour.

I didn't just figure on Veldspar. I just figured it from what I did. I was mining Veld Plago and Pyrox in a mission.
I do have a scanner and T2 strip miners, T2 Crystals, 2- T2 laser upgrades, 3% yield implant and my alt in a hauler (hauler) with mining foreman 5. No Gang module, director skills or implants for my alt yet though.

You wasted time mining plag and pyro... that explains the little isk income :)

I was more interested in the minerals then selling for ISK.

You would be better off mining the ore worth more isk per m3, selling the excess minerals, and buying the minerals you are short on with the proceeds. |

That's a good theory but not much good for me. Cause I live on the west coast of Canada by the time I get on to play the vass majority of the best selling ore has been mined. So I would end up spending to much time going from belt to belt just to get a few measly roids of the 'good' stuff. So I take all I can get.
and if isk/hr for a miner is based on the amount of Veldspar I'm able to collect and sell in an hour then I make 12.8 mill per hour.
