Hi there,
Is it only I getting impression that login screen music taken from some vampires game and much more fit in there then in spaceships game?
Very unimpressed CCP. Not expecting much from Inferno now with that kind of corner cutting. If you'd like to see where cut corners lead take a look at complete failure of Mass Effect 3. |

How did you equate your musical preferences clashing with theirs to corner cutting? |

The intro music is quite clearly composed to imply anticipation. How you derived the opinion that it suggests vampires is a worry. Perhaps you are obsessing about Edward. Does your girlfriend know that you fantasise about Edward rather than Bella? |

Now that you mention it, you're right, I never heard any music in EVE that had bells or sounded dark or ominous. /sarcasm
I'm frankly disappointed that there are people who play EVE who have nothing better to do than whine about the new kind of music that plays at an intro screen for a patch and will change in 6 months (or maybe even in a few weeks).
As for your implication about them using resources from WoD, really? CCP started out over a decade ago as a few guys in Iceland who wanted to make a serious game about internet spaceships. Now they've got hundreds of employees with more subscribers than the population of their country in a nation suffering economic collapse while developing a game that's nearly 9 years old with a steadily increasing playerbase and bi-annual free expansions and an upcoming console FPS that's tied in an unprecedented manner to the aforementioned MMO success.
...and they happen to have a team working on a game about vampires, and since the intro music for the new patch sounds a little bit dark, you're accusing them of cost-cutting.
Seriously think about it for a minute and next time don't bother to hit the post button. Discoveror of CCP's original missile damage formula. |

Log-in screen music has always sounded terrible when I log in multiple accounts at once. Post with your monkey. |

Escalation login music is... Well, I don't even think it even qualifies as music. It's just an annoying drone. |

Bells and that almost "scream" right at the beginning of play when screen comes up. Animation is great on login but music is totally out of place. Like it was made for very different game.

And no Mara Rinn this music is anything but not anticipation. It implies vampires games. Not even a hint of anticipation for Inferno in it. And if by Inferno they somehow mean vampires then oh well may be i missed something and ended up in game about vampires but i totally aimed for spaceships game. Need to do some calibrations and up that Game Signature Analysis to 5. |
