Thanks To Laura Moonbeam, a group of random people that x'ed for our fleet. we got hands on this Wormhole. Placed in RQH-MY Named K162.
fleet was very unsorted, but we had to Carriers with us and about 10 or so Battleships. Personally a full remote repping Abaddon.
So we found the sleepers, warped there... not a fleet warp. might have been a mistake. but people got killed pretty fast... in the end sleepers settle on carriers. which are taking a beating they can't tank and they can't kill anything either. battleships are or getting targeted. Personally, I locked a carrier to be readdy for remote rep. but I have barely locked onto friendly carrier, until I realise I have multiple BS's locked on me. and now i'm in POD.
obviously Sleepers don't like remote reppers and tend to kill them off first... so we lost it all, WH even closed fot us in the end from what I heard. anyways, were you in my fleet. or have been intp the same wormhole. please post screnshots or some sort of data. maybe stuff from killmail that can help the next going in there...
we kinda hope it's getting nerfed a bit.. but CCP will do what they feel is right.

Very cool. So not only do the Sleepers have some heavy duty ships they use a bit of strategy as well. Should be fun.

IIRC there was a dev that said people in eve we're too filthy rich. this appears to be their answer.

that point exactly was what one of the carrier Pilots said. it is not worth bringing capitals in anyways. theres a great chance of losing it. and T3 ain't worth that much.

Interesting.. Do you happen to know what your resists are with that abaddon fit? I'm wondering what level DPS you go nailed with. With one DCU2, one EANM2, and all level 5's in EFT it's not terribly impressive and the dual reps won't do much if you're alpha'd to hell.
Either way I have a bunch of ships ready to go get blown up in wormhole space on TQ. "Boo hoo. Cry some more." CCP Whisper

I remember a statement at university 'Pioneers are those with arrows in their backs'.
The first to try something are generally the ones who get hit the hardest. Even level 4 missions before the guides etc were much harder than now just because they were unknown. Today any fool who is careful can start completing level 4's within a few weeks of character creation.
The new wormholes and T3 will be the same. Its already been said the wormholes will be of different sizes. I would expect wormholes big enough to handle multiple cap ships will be tough enough to kill cap ships.
1st rule of combat is fly what you can afford to replace. 2nd rule of combat is know the enemy.
What you have just described was going into combat blind without knowing how the enemy works and it bit back hard in 'Pearl Harbour' Proportions. Over time the AI will be worked out and then be beaten. The battle was lost, but are we going to settle for losing the war? Or do we have some backbone and are prepared to learn from mistakes till players win in repeats of the situation?
Todays ideals have changed. Pearl Harbour was a few minutes of battle losing about 2500 lives. Today the world is much more crowded but if you lose a few hundred in a year they call it a war? They call that 'progress'. Lets not go PC and kill off exploring T3 wormholes before it even starts.
The most dangerous weapon is the human mind. With the human mind one can take on computer AI's in games like Eve at overwhelming odds as it is only by 'cheating' so much AI's have a chance against a thinking player. Are we thinking players or as dumb as an AI? Probably best to learn from smaller wormholes before trying the bigger ones (1st, 2nd rule).

I was pretty much one shot. can't even remember if I got to activate the DCUII. but the T2 armor reppers did no difference, they weren't activated. and EANM II was pretty much my only tank i think...
for all that's interrested in this pioneering. or just wormholes. get on SISI. fly t3 ships while you can. atm theres about a wormhole in every constellation, just needs to be scanned down, which is half easy. I doub't they will be this heavyli seeded on Tranq. alone when we did this one. we had several wormholes to choose from. if you find a GM, he can help you alot gettin inside a WH. SISI can about cope 500 to 700 players at a time though so it may get a bit laggy with markets and all. but get on there, test it. help CCP ballance the last tweaks before launc this comming week.

Does anyone really believe that this is ready to launch in the few days remaining? I'm not taking a position, I'm just wondering what the consensus is of testers who've been in the thick of it.

Well, there will be 2500 wormholes on Tranquility which means around 1 wormhole for every other star system. So there will be a lot of wormholes to be found.

in all the years ive played SISI has always been a little deceptive.
you can play SISI one day and it will be so incredibly Fubar that you cant believe your eyes, then the next SISI patch its all shiny and new. dont panic about the SISI being ****ed up as its a TEST environment. They tend to release partial code and half features so that each part is tested a bit at a time.
not for a few BPC's has TQ resease been an issue.
as to thew sleepers being really hardcore. you need to realise that they look to have a really steep tier to them. if your unlucky enough to manage to get the capital killers then yeah your BS will crumble into space dust but i managed to get into a wormhole with a couple of sleeper BS's and when the second spawn arrived i was still able to tank them in a loki. (4x BS's 2x Cruisers) when they were at range the pain was kind intense but at around 50km the damage dropped off and i managed to keep my transversal up and tank.
You will need to adjust your tactics with them but if you stick to the empire entrance based ones then you should be pretty solid in a drake. With stuff like Signature radius being part of the "threat assessment" you will need to take everything into consideration. Time to fight smart.

Why didn't you activate the DCU II the instant you jumped through the wormhole? They use essentially zero cap.

Actually their will be 2499 new W-space systems.I assume by the dev blogs that its not going to be one wormhole leads to one system. Since supposedly you can put up POSes in w space( though risky and hard) I would imagine w space would be like another galaxy or something with different access points.
thats what i just what i gathered from dev blogs. I dont see them being so common 1 is in every other system.

I took a ship into a wormhole with a couple scrambles and an MWD on because CCP said it was like PvP...didn't want my targets running away now did I? I also had my friends get in there with dreads and DROP INTO SEIGE for ****kicks....

their strength is team work, their weakness is obvious.
apart from that little nugget i guess we will need to wait until CCP do the data dump and the guides get updated :/
they switch damage types with their missiles and i noticed that the missiles have a standard naming convention so when people can match the damagetype to the missiles then it will get easier.
the battlesships look to have long range and once your under their guns they have tracking trouble like everyone else. they shield tank and remote rep but once the shield was down the armor dropped like a stone. its either going to be fun learning them or a simple datadump and "cheat"
