When/If tranquility crashes, where do we go for information/updates? Some of us are losing salvage maybe? Speaking for my character, perhaps as many as 100 ships. What happens if the server dies, does the 2 hour timer on wrecks reset?

You'll have to wait like everyone else.
Wrecks dont reset.
Petition it if you want but realy, youir not going to like the answer they give you.

CCP will usually post a thread if it's an unschedueled extended downtime. But only if they are experencing issues that will cause the server to be down for a long time.
Usually there will be a link to the thread on the eve log-in screen.

When you have problems with TQ, go to General Discussion. If other people are having problems too all the whines will be there and if you're lucky a Dev might make a post or even a thread about the issue.

Thanks guys.... can anyone tell me, was the server down this morning between 6am and 7am Eve time? Yes, I lost millions in salvage because of the outage. I guess CCP doesn't take any responsibility for something like that, then? OK. I accept that answer.

They're just stupid pixels. Pick up another mission and forget about it. Nothing you can do to change that. Well except, wack a salvager and tractor beam on your mission ship so you salvage while you kill the rats.
And I don't think the server was down (hmm maybe it was but not for hours). I did though get disconnected 6-9 times around 7-8 GMT. Lost a whole batch of T2 Hammerheads. Did you hear me cry over it? No, I cursed and just moved on. Its a game, you win pixels, you loose... pixels.

Chill out Maria. Not all of us have a lot of time to play and there was clearly no heavy whining going on here.
Go beat up on some GD posters, they need it a lot more
