Has anyone else noticed that Med/Large SmartBombs with a 4000 meter blast range now makes a good Drone defense ?!? Due to the "fix" that drones got now that they don't fire from 15km distant from the target. I think this is a good thing, btw, because now there is a good reason to fit a Med SB other than to keep short-range friggys off your backs. |

ermm... its always been good drone defense. before drones may have fired from 15k.. but they still orbitted at 1k. tbh, they are too effective. a single large or medium sb will render the domi's massive drone bay useless.. one of the reasons drones are useless for pvp
edit: sorry, spoke in haste. not useless, except against bs equipped with a single smartbomb, i might as well spit at them. 2-3 pulses of a large and they are toast, and half of my drones are gone. still great for frigs/cruisers though.

ermm... its always been good drone defense. before drones may have fired from 15k.. but they still orbitted at 1k. tbh, they are too effective. a single large or medium sb will render the domi's massive drone bay useless.. one of the reasons drones are useless for pvp
