Mayoz Miner Caldari	Posted - 2009.03.05 16:22:00 - [1] Hi, Which is the fastest way to get Minmatar Faction increase to about 6 ? I know I can do missions but someone told me I can exchange certain tags for faction increase aswell, where do i do this ?

And you have to do normal missions to get storyline missions. Tags cant be used to buy faction. They are only used in conjunction with Loyalty Points to purchase some items from the LP Store. (Reunification is Coming)

This is from a faction standing guide: How to increase faction standing in EVE Online Train your Social Skills Train up your Social and Connections skills.Doing so will increase your effective standing with all factions with whom you have a 0.0 standing or higher. If you have a negative standing with a faction, these skills will not increase your standing with that faction. If you have negative standing with a faction, train the Diplomacy skill to increase your effective standing with those factions. Train Diplomacy to Increase Negative Standing If your Faction standing goes below -2.0, you will not be able to work for any corporations of that faction. The Diplomacy skill increases your effective standing with hostile factions by 40% for each level you train. Collect Dog Tags and Take them to Data Centers When you defeat NPC ships, you might find dog tags in the wreckage. There are ten types of dog tags: copper, bronze, silver, electrum, brass, palladium, gold, crystal, platinum, and diamond. The description of the dog tags implies that you can take those tags to "the proper authorities" for a nice reward. Those "proper authorities" are in the following high-security solar systems, where you will find data centers (which look like beacons in space) for the specified factions. There are agents in these data centers who will give you missions to give them dog tags. You can only speak to each agent once, and if your faction standing is already above 5.0, you will not get much of a faction standing increase from these dog tag missions. You can only do these missions once per character. If you fail one of these missions (and they are harder than the usual missions), you never get to try it again!
