Having recently installed a separate copy to play a bit on the test server, some old and very annoying, completely unnecessary defects have become much more annoying.
I strongly believe that CCP should finally address the numerous annoying problems related to patching and installation of clients.
The frequent destruction of game settings related to patching must stop. I am very sick of having to recreate various settings everytime a patch has arrived, especially overview setting and containers. There is no reason on earth why these things have to be destryoed because of a patch.
In addition to this, todays reinstallation of my test server client, caused by a broken patch, destroyed my other client settings so badly that it looked like a complete reinstall. Every ingame setting, every graphics and audio setting, every chat I use, everything was destroyed. This, despite the fact that I chose the option NOT to erase any game settings when uninstalling the Sisi client.
Also, if I log in a char that's 3 years old, I don't want to get 500 bull**** windows with n00b help to click away even if CCP want to delete my other settings once in a while. This is completely unacceptable, and something that must be fixed sooner or later.
It might be time to fix the ancient and completely fubar behaviour when login fails due to server overload. As far as I can remember, I have NEVER been looged in after waiting even 5 or 10 minutes when being #23 in line. However, shutting down Eve and restarting used to work. It doesn't anymore though. It just crashes the client in a very disturbing way.

Uninstall?? Is there an install?? I don't remember when have I installed it at all... I always copied just the eve directory. If you want to get rid of the sisi then just delete the directory and that is it.
