For some reason i can't select and move the ****er (when my mouse moves over it NOTHING happens), i can select the border of the bloody range sphere and increase/decrease scan range.
HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE, THE WIGGED IS A BLOODY BIG BOX, THE SPHERE HAS LIKE 1-3 PIXELS WIGHT.
I'm sorry for shouting, but i'm frustrated to no end.
Anyone else experiencing this problem, is there a workaround?

It can be kind of tricking, especially if you have another probe nereby that has its label overlaping the probes widget you want to move. just zoom in further rotate a bit and hover curser of the box or arrow until the cursors square goes tiny, thats means the cursor is ready to grab.
They did change it up a bit the widget goes blue now instead of red when it is ready to be grabbed also, I prefered the red, its easier to see when you got a mess of probes really close.
Hope that helps you. Otherwise no mine is working just fine.

The problem is that i can't move a single probe. Just one, not multiple probes.
When my mouse goes over the wigged nothing happens, i was convinced it was a bug, but then no1 else seems to have this problem and it concerns me that come M10, i wont be able to do exploration anymore.

You should be more racially tolerant of the probes. What did they ever do to you?

The little ********s refuse my orders to move. And that's intolerable.

Try deleting all the contents of your SISI instilation folder, then recopy your TQ folder content into the SISI folder, then reapply the patch to a clean copy of quantum rise. See what that does. Stacking the patches can retain some bugs in my expirience. |

Is it possible that you are running a low end machine, possibly with a integrated graphics card? If so, then we have fixed that bug and you should be able to use it tomorrow. If you still can't, please file a bug report.

I'm in fact running on a laptop, but i haven't had a problems with the Premium SiSi client since SCENE2 was removed from the options menu.
Can't believe this might be the cause.
Here's hopping that tomorrows patch soves my problem.

Today did not see a new patch, but a bulk data update only which didn't solve the problem.
Filed a petition, Number:73295.
Please solve this problem. I implore you.

Bulk data is not a client patch. Do not file bug reports in petitions. Bug reports should go into the bug report system: https://bugs.eve-online.com/newbugreport.asp

I know that Bulk Data != Patch, but you said that problem will have a solution by today, so i assumed a Patch was incoming. I know that assumption is mom to all ****-ups, so
Edit: I mean Bug Report Number:73295

It was only 5mb, but i was hopping for a fix.
Probe movement is still broken for me.

Edited by: Dohl Khrensen on 06/03/2009 21:33:01 I think he means 'widget'.
They are calling the box that represents each probe with the arrows you can click to move the widget.
edit: deleted my whiney opinion.

I am having the exact same problem as John. I am running an intergrated grapphics card, and the 5mb patch has not fixed anything. "We are here for our fun, not yours". |

I had the same problem running the windows client in linux under wine. Let me guess, all of you have Nvidia 6xxx or 7xxx video cards. It appears that CCP did a lot of things in the client that doesn't play well with these cards. I was able to fix the problem by changing a wine registry setting to that causes Offscreen Rendering to be done with the Frame Buffer. I don't know if there is a windows equivelent registry key. Personally I hope that they fix the issue, as I take a performance hit using this registry key (again, this is an issue that has been observed with Nvidia 6xxx and 7xxx series cards). ________________________
