Bah. I've been working up standing to 6.0+ to get L4 missions with Core Complexion, who have lots of agents in Minmatar space. So far so good. I decided to look for a medical facility in hopes that when I hit 8.0 I can get a jump clone and I find none. I used EVE Explorer to check out all their agents and it appears that this NPC corp has NO clone facilities? Is that really possible? Are these Core Complexion guys that primitive that they haven't bothered to build a medical facility in ANY of their bases? Does this mean I have to start over with another NPC Corp if I want to work up 8.0 to get a jump clone, or am I missing something?

Edited by: Yakumo Smith on 06/03/2009 05:28:24 There are quite a few corps that don't have cloning facilities. I had something similar happen to myself.
On the plus point, if you have decent Minmatar faction standing, you'll be able to jump to higher level agents faster for another Minmatar corp...so hopefully the grind won't be as bad.
I recommend looking around for a R&D based corp that has medical clones so that you are at least going to gain more than just Jump Clones for your extra grinding.
Editited to alter clone wording for clarity
I suppose this must be my sig. I'll do something cool with it eventually. |

Thanks for the response. Not sure I understand the above comment, though, could you clarify? Are you suggesting I join an Industrial corp that has cloning capability or are you saying that I should find an NPC Corp that is R&D focused, and if the latter, what will I be gaining from them other than Jump Cloning capability?

I believe Core Complexion actually had R&D agents. If you train up research project management, you can farm some datacores for your trouble.
Also, I've never understood why people grind for JCs when there are so many player services that offer them, even one that does it for free.

He means that if you do an R&D missions not only will you get the cloning facility you will also get datacores that you can either sell or use to invent! HOORAY!!

Ah, because I wasn't aware of this. Many thanks for the information, my wife and I are on our way to get our jumpclones from a service provider, after which we will continue our otherwise enjoyable relationship with Core Complexion, including pursuit of datacores from the many R&D agents we've encountered. Thanks for the informative response!

Yes, indeed, Estel, many thanks for your service. We are indeed happy customers!
I saw your welcome note in Corp chat but not until you left for work. Sorry I missed the chance to chat. Thanks again for the service to the community and for spreading the love!

It looks like the OP has gotten the jump clones he wants.
However, for those who wish to gain the standings, I would suggest that you us a site such at this to check if they have cloning facilities.
Not all NPC corps offer cloning facilities, so it is better to check before you grind the standings needed.
