I have a slight problem connecting to the test server here: I have version 83552 (updated yesterday). I have found no newer version and I get no update message - but the status message says "Incompatible (build)"... Anyone else having that problem? --- "Multiple exclamation marks are a sure sign for a diseased mind." -Terry Pratchett |

Should be a simple download, double click, select eve folder and it should download it. Unless ccp are messing with the patches (AKA getting ready to release a *new* patch, god knows Sisi is restarting every 20 mins, i cannot kill bugger all in w-space without a restart interrupting me) ______________________________________________ Haruhiist since December 2008

yep they messed up, you can't log in now. You can't even edit start.ini yourself or it gives a CRC error ... the old system with the pulldown where you could select the server was 10 times better

Its not difficult boys... you got the latest build and it shows TQ as the main server... all you have to do is edit the (SISI) shortcut.
Add /server:87.237.38.50 after
"C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE TEST\eve.exe"
Then you should be good to go.

This is not working for me. I am running vista and when i put that after the target path, i get an error saying the path is invalid. The only option to click is "ok" which resets the target path.
What am i doing wrong?
I tried
"C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE TEST\eve.exe"/server:87.237.38.50
and
"C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE TEST\eve.exe/server:87.237.38.50"
