83884 - was never officially released. So there is no upgrade path. So upgrade from scratch...

"Current Client Version: 83913" according to EVE website.
My test client show version 83913, yet also show message "incompatible version".
I guess CCP are abit late in offering a final patch for todays testing.

I'm trying to get a clean Sisi install, but the installer (75883->83913) keeps crashing as it starts to download the actuall content. The ".rtp" workaround solved this problem for previous patches. But I can't find any link for this one.
Any ideas?

Thanks, that would explain it... was never "officially" released lol
I've been trying the past week to get on Sisi and got so close to start loging in... but then the server went down and updated to 83738, and before I got that installed to 83884...
/o\ this is madness.
hopefully they don't change it in the hour and a half it will take me to download the TQ to Sisi patch.

It's very likely that after downloading the patch your client is now trying to connect to TQ. This is because the patch to 83913 is NOT a test patch and as such doesn't automatically point to the test server.
Make a shortcut to eve.exe and then edit it to add "/server:87.237.38.50" in the Target box (leave a space between this and the executable path). Then launch the client from the shortcut. Then give me kittens.

Try adding to the shortcut. /server:87.237.38.50
ie: "C:\Program Files\Sisi\EVE\eve.exe" /server:87.237.38.50
but your directory may vary depending your file location.

Your kittens are in the mail. Thanks for the tip. -------- Bender: Ahhh, what an awful dream. Ones and zeroes everywhere... and I thought I saw a two. Fry: Don't worry, Bender: there's no such thing as two. |
