is there a way to customise the resolution you play in?
i play windowed on a 1600x1200 desktop, While eve is 1600x1200, the window itself is like 1700x1250. so i have to move the window around to make it fit properly (and run properly for some weird reason)
so is there an option somewhere to make eve run on 1580x1180?
thanx :) ___________________________ "what did that button do??"

In the escape menu, in the graphics tab, I believe you can change resolution there. Hope this helps

try editing <eve-dir>/cache/prefs.ini
never tried it for 'weird' resoutions, only for 800x600 when i wanted a small eve window visible while playing semi-afk.

Anyone has found solution for this? Have same problem as original poster. Would like to have some window size between 1280x1024 and 1600x1200 (those are listed in settings) to my 1600x1200 desktop.

I'm a newb but I found out how to do this (great for dual monitor setup so I can surf whilst mining).
I used a little utility I found called 'shiftwindow' you should be able to 'google' for it. Launch Eve into windowed mode a desired res (which probably ends up with desktop going chug chug) then open shiftwindow select EVE from the dropdown then click Screen then Set, all should be good :) -- CEO, RCSAS |
