Edited by: Cattegirn on 09/03/2009 07:06:29 Under "Duration", is that the time over which damage is done? Is the damage AOE such that a frigate at 4.9km could escape with less than the full damage of the bomb if they escape to 5.1km after detonation? Or is it a dot on anything that is within 5km at detonation?
Are smartbombs consumed once activated or can they be used over and over?

duration is the time between each activation. Smarbombs use cap and can be fire as long as you have enough.

Damage is done in the beginning of the cycle. Then it "reloads" for the duration.
Everything inside the 5 km radius gets the full damage. After that, nothing.
Smartbomb is a module and consumes only cap, so can be used over and over.
Hope this helps... Don't know so much about this.

T2 smartbombs really shine. Plus you need them anyways for Doomsday Operation skill.
T1=5km, T2=6km. Hummm...20% increase, me likes.

So this wasn't a straightoff logoffski from our point of view, rather a tactical manoeuvre

Actually you are looking at a 44% increase. You must take into effect the area effect is not linear. Our old freind Pie Are Squared!

*cough* space is 3D. If you're going to take that approach, it's 4/3 pi*r^3, or an increased effected zone of 73.8% :P
