I was browsing the YouTubes and came across this little gem. Looks like a phony trailer for the new Sony picture 2012. At the 1:19 - 1:21 mark it looks like they show a shot of a POS exploding then the Minmatar freighter and then finally a raven shooting some missiles. I just wanted confirmation that I'm not crazy and so I can go back to playing EVE nonstop without worry of drain bamage.

Yes, they stole from EVE, in addition to a few movies.
0:14 is from Apocalypto
0:40 is from Independence Day
0:47 is from The Day After Tomorrow
1:19 is from Eve
And some more in there that I couldn't identify.

The teleporters came from a sci-fi series. I can't remember the name offhand though. IIRC, it was interplanetary teleport.

Most of the later parts are from Gene Roddenberry's Earth: Final Conflict. Maybe a snippet or two from B5, but it's hard to tell.
