nope ... but for me;
I tried to dl full patch manually (2gb) twice .. stalled at 488mb each time
Ive tried to use the crappola autopatcher and it 5 times told me there was a download error (once at 1.4gb, the other 4 times at various levels of instant to 2-300 mb)
CCP dont care, I wouldnt bother trying anymore for help in here as ccp never visit this forum

I am getting a "There was a Temorary error downloading the required files." Tried DLing the patch manually, didn't work. Tried DLing the full client. Didn't work. Isn't very cool

I got the same error. I'm on Vista64 sp1. For me, the solution was to logon to windows with an account with administrative rights.
Apparently, CCPs new update system cannot access BITS from a limited account

I guess you mean Right click on patcher -> Run as Administrator?

I manage to download the full client, takes a bit over an hour.
But always get an error at the end of unpackaging:
"Some Installation files are corrupt.
Please download a fresh copy and retry the installation.!
Eveonline: Unpackaging files says:
CRC failed in eveonline_84244.7z
Running Vindows XP Premium.
edit:
If I try downloding the slightly smaller thing directly from eveonline.com/downloads I get the error message you report above.
