Just as with the Empyrean Age patch release, an excellent job was done on the news releases - very entertaining and exciting to follow.
For those who haven't seen already check out this site.
Your news creation wing is keeping up their end of the bargain, during major patch releases.
All inclined to add kudus and offer CCP a "well done" for their efforts to keep us entertained while the servers were off line - getting some loving, please join me here in congratulating the team.
(Those not-so-inclined to say anything positive, those, bitter, sour or otherwise unable to appreciate CCP's efforts - please, either identify yourselves by saying something stupid so we can laugh at you, or find another thread to gripe in).

good job through it but a bit of a anticlimax at the end dont you think,
i mean i am at the planet ruins now and the star has some kind of weird tunnel.
there was no epic feel once the wormholes were discovered
My main has the flu but i am still here

For some weird reason everyone in EVE turned into a nice guy today. I thought I was reading the Hello Kitty in Space blog, up until the planet exploded and half a billion people died. -

I suspect on completion of patch deployment there will be additional stories to smooth out the story. Still, it was entertaining.

It was a little slow to start up anything, but all in all it was a good read and gave me something to do while working. Would be good for CCP to do some videos of the events.
=( Still at work now.

Edited by: NxN on 10/03/2009 16:53:31 Very well done.
The videos would be amazing, please think about it next time :)
I am already sucked into the story!
Word of advice: don't read from top to the bottom, or you spoil yourself the story

I'm waiting for the report of horrified explorers on the other side of the wormhole...
"something is out here!"

I liked the bit where they failed to even save one million from exploding.

If wormholes are going to appear everywhere, I like the idea that a similar event is happening in multiple locations.

Epic story, I almost missed my dentist appointment because I was refreshing every few minutes to see what happens next. This makes any bug or glitch that might appear completly insignifiant. GOOD JOB CCP! I LOVE YOU GUYS!
PS: I would really enjoy a SF movie based on the EVE story. It would be up there with the classics, if the scriptwriters would go on the same track.
