I cant download the new eve patch. Ive tried ingame autopatching and downloading the client and patch on the website and just get :
Address Not Found
ccp.vo.llnwd.net could not be found. Please check the name and try again.
is this happening for everyone or just me?
I wanna play new eve :P

Sounds like your ISP has a few lookup or routing problems.
Lookup problems can be fixed by adding a separate DNS lookup that is independant from your ISP, the one I use here is OpenDNS and full instructions are on their website.
If its a routing problem then you need to contact your ISP and inform them so they can fix it.

if you have a bit-torrent client, you can get a manual patch frem eve-files
Manual patch version 75883-84244 (.torrent file)

getting same problem, Got premium client installed... Patch wont start, d/led and installed bulk dat file no diffrence, Downloading full build d/l @ 34 KB been D/Ling now for 4 hours only another 13 hours to go WHHOOO!!!! :(

i would download the full build except... that includes premium graphics which i already have so i think this issue sucks and is a total waste of time.
i want to dl a patch, even the patch page doesnt have the latest version for patching.

hey i'm downloading the patch from where you start the game. you just click patch info where you normally start eve and it ask if you want to download the patch. you probably already tried that.
anyway this patch is downloading at such a slow rate. i have other programs running because i'm a full time trader but nothing i've downloaded ever downloaded this slow. it's telling me 5 more hours. ouch!

Bump. I have the same problem. There seems to be some kind of DNS problem. The hostname cannot be resolved. Please help!
