I whine I moan a lot,
But this is the one, this is the same feeling I had when I had the boxed version since 2003.

I have to agree. The graphics are goregous, the UI is MUCH more responsive, I haven't seen a hint of lag yet, the gameply is smoother and I haven't even hit the new content yet. Top it all off with the fact that everything went according to schedule and you have a real win.

that's cause many haven't been able to log in yet. i am downloading at 26 ****ing k/s and i am one of those people with an optic cable straight to my house and a disturbingly fast connection :(

Tremendous job by CCP.
New client works and looks great on my low end work machine with a very noticable FPS increase. Download was a little shaky but the install was flawless.
Also checked my journal and I got 600K ISK from the Caldari Navy. Was that for all my scan probes (gone now) that I forgot to sell or reprocess?

Indeed, a tip of the hat to all of you at CCP for your hard work.
The update was trouble free for me, and this is coming from someone who had been using classic and was worried my laptop wouldn't be able to handle premium. It's a little slow, but playable.
Skill queue is awesome, new fitting screen is cool, everything looks great. The news blurbs during downtime was pretty cool too.
All in all, a pretty cool birthday present for me, cause I know you planned the release today just for me.
Great job.

It would have been helpfull if we could download the patches/build manually, the freakin autoupdater doesn't work at all.

yup adding a patch, getting the servers up early, and i am getting a much better performance, better frame rates and quicker dock/undocking etc

Awsome job guys + Gals... i have lots of patches in my time in eve.. this is the biggest yet..
and it has been the smoothest yet...
although my download is varying between 40kbs and 500kbs... its just teasing me... cant wait for the new content...

Just keep your training skills to above 1 day trainings at the least, they sure as hell aint infallible (yet :P). Always expect the worst even if it seams all peachy

Downloaded full build, installed. WOW!!
New scanning system blows me away, people are going to flock to exploration like Gallenteans to pleasure hubs, Amarrians to revival tents, Matari to duct tape stores, and Caldari to shareholder meetings.
Game has jumped 10 years into the future in one day! My congratulations to CCP for a tremendous step forward....
