I started downloading at about 11:10 AM EST time. Took about 20-30 minutes to download, at roughly 1.2mb/s.
My friend whom started about an hour later is now downloading it at 76k/s, and will take him several hours to finish.
So either my net pwnz0rs his, or I just got lucky. :D

The thing is, CCP use a Content Delivery Network. Thus, they have a load more bandwidth than you think they do.
Yes and it is STILL delivering at 2MB/s (18Mbps) here so perhaps the terminally clueless could go look at the REAL problem - their ISP.
