Well played. how many tornados = a charon? At current jita market, 35, which they've lost 10x over. :) We can assume also not every nado exploded had a KM generated either. I saw quite a few die in quick succession during the height of TiDi that I'm not sure even the most noblest of KM ***** could get on fast enough.

I remember in WoW, we could kite an invulnerable NPC to Stormhold, and everyone would practice their various skills - fighters would fight and healers woudl heal. Of course, the GMs would shut it down as soon as they realized what we were doing and eventually changed the game mechanics so this was no longer possible. In EvE, Burn Jita was/is possible. It was glorious, depsite any definitions of "success" or "failure".

Also, the goons and their coalition control massive amounts of resources. Every single tornado lost is easily reimbursed to the pilot that loses it through the technetium income of the CFC alliances.

It was scheduled to start a day early from the earlier Mitanni announcement. lol.

I know it's hard for some of the carebears ruining the game to imagine motivations beyond making one's wallet flash, but some of us actually like EVE.

It can't really interdict Jita's main role though: station trading and spamming local. I haven't really seen any significant impact on my day to day market activities since this started. The market UI is as snappy as ever even with 10% TiDi.
