I need to know if there is a way to get my monthly money back from CCP for not allowing my computer to play anymore?

I'm sorry if you didnt pay attention to the forums for the past 2 months. And you wont get your money back. And you know it. I'm forced to upgrade as well but not a big deal atm.

Oh well.. I guess that makes it ok then?! What the hell does it matter that's been on the forums?? The people who can't afford to upgrade.. but have been playing for years suddenly can't play now... But that's ok... Its fair because it was on the forums..... Makes a lot of sense

No. Your monthly subscription fees have already been used to pay for servers and employees.
If you read the TERMS OF AGREEMENT EULA, notice there is a section that explains your time was not worth anything, and your character has no value. So should you decide to no longer play, your character is not worth anything, and nothing is owed to you.

Since you didnt read the forum and didnt seem to know that classic was being removed do you also know they made premium lite, and have you tried to use that?

sorry guys, if you can pay the monthly fee for this game, but not pay 20 euro for a new graphics card 1 time fee. your poor, and your priorities in life are messed up.
seriously, if you cant run the game anymore (pre shader model 2.0) you got a graphics card of atleast 4 years old. go to the store, and ask for the cheapest 1 they got. it will have shader model 2.0. if not 3.0. and it will cost you less then 20 euro.

Here is some REAL ADVICE. Do some research on your current computer equipment & find a cheap used video card that is compatible with your motherboard & supports pixel shader 2.0
sisoft sandra program is a good start, the rest, use your brain. Good luck!

Well either way. Any new game that comes out these days require upgrades. So if your not willing to keep up with the times. Go play Doom that might still work.

If you want to play a game with 5 year old graphics play a game that has 5 year old graphics. Eve is ever changing so that it can compete in the market against many other MMO's out and coming out soon. Unless you are so damn selfish that you rather EvE die and fall along the way side because nobody but you and the handful of other broke people here can't afford to live and play modern video games????
Like the other guy here said, get your priorities straight and get your life together instead of sitting on your arse playing internet spaceships. You want something for nothing, I work hard to get what I want and if I want to play a game I pay good dollar for a good machine.

Put in a petition explaining your situation and see what happens. I believe CCP to be handling such issues fairly.

I'm really tired of these threads. Almost any graphics card that was designed in the last 4 years supports Pixel Shader 2. Even my netbook (which has Intel GMA integrated graphics) can play it. If your graphics card isn't supported, here's a few that DO support it:

I've read a few posts stating the Geforce 5200 series (first AGP one listed) isn't compatible with eve....

Gamers have to upgrade their hardware from time to time. MMO's evolve and become more demanding on hardware. This is nothing new.

I'd really have issue with playing most games with a laptop, unless it was something like a current, low-end or a few year old high-end. I'm pretty damn sure my 4-5 year old XPS Gen1 laptop could handle this relatively well. It has a Radeon Mobility 9800 that handled City of Heroes and Guild Wars rather swimmingly. Granted, it's also 4-5 years old and definitely showing signs of age. It was also what one would call a 'desktop replacement', so it's handling games should go without saying.
I'm rather impressed with the stories of people putting Apocrypha on netbooks and running it just fine, personally.
