The Game crashes for me when i'm near Acceleration Gates. Everything works fine. But near those Gates my PC freazes after about 15 to 20 seoonds and i have to reboot. Anyone has the same problem and a possible solution?

I reported this as a bug on Singularity and they tried to fob me off with it being a sound card problem, despite me having sound disabled (and yes my sound card drivers are up to date anyway).
Hopefully a fix is in the works?

I'm stable docked and attending my POS but at and into a deadspace mission I first get a black flash, maybe a second in a few seconds, mouse lock, system hang, and/or CTD. If I survive to desktop Vista tells me it has recovered from video driver failure.
I was stable before patch using Premium Lite past 4+ days.
Dang - sort of glad to see others are having this issue too. Otherwise I'd be buying new hardware TODAY.
Now What ? I have to do a detailed bug report ?

i get a bsod once out ouf 5 crashes... rest of the time it just locks up...

I have the same problem. When I'm near acceleration gate, or im locked by multiple NPC, my PC first freeze (10 sec), and then reboot.
My driver are new, and my PC is 3 weeks old.
Any ideas?

There is another longer thread on this issue. It seems to be happening mostly to people with intel gpu chipsets.

wonderful.. seems I'm not alone. AS for this happening to intel users.. WTF?!?!?! I dont understand why this hasnt been addressed quickly.
aside from my current anger, has anyone found a workaround yet? or better yet a fix?

I dont crash but I get really bad FPS when I use accel gates where it jutters and keeps freezing for 1-2 seconds until im clear of the gate, also when I get to the other end all the gas cloud textures etc are big blurry square textures for about 2 seconds then go to high ress ones. Only started happening with the Apoc expansion and have been running premium client all the time. Have an 8800GTX so its not a graphics card limitation or anything.
