Has anyone been fortunate enough to encounter a frozen system? Just, a system that as soon as you jump into it, the background loads but nothing else. No stargates, no other ships, not your own ship. You simply get a UI and a pretty background picture to stare at as you wait endlessly for something to happen.
Well, I have. It's called Fricoure.
Likewise, if you try and load a character, you simply get a loading bar that completes, and doesn't go away and the black background doesn't fade to to a familiar looking ship, it simply remains black.
Now, I know this isn't the splash-screen error mentioned in the sticky, I can log into all my other characters. (I tried the fixes mentioned there anyways, they did not have an affect) But the system I was in seems to have "frozen" as I was running a mission (it took 15 minutes for my drones to get into my dronebay after I told them to return from 20km). My other account was functioning too, until I jumped into Fricoure.
They're both essentially useless until the system comes back up. |

Same things here, in Mirilene. System stuck, and after rebooting the client, i can't load my character...

dammit, same problem. Logged in without a problem, selected char, then the "entering game as ..." bar completes and nothing happens... Tried to relog from 2 different comps, got a new I.P., rebooted, it won't work whatever...
by the way the system is JITA.

I Too Am Logged In Mirilene.. I Managed To Get In Game Tried To Undock But Got Nothing,
Tried A Restart Of The Client An Now Cant Get Back In,
At The Moment Im Re-Downloading The Client An See If That Helps But I Doubt It Will

Doesn't work for me.
Stuck in Vylade. Jumped in, got new background, gate, ship cloaked. Didn't go out of cloke, noch other action possible, first thought of lag, but then of disconnect. After next connection try I got a beautiful loading bar and nothing else.

Ok forget it... loggedin, chat works, but still no action possible. On the other hand it's funny to see a whole fleet of stranded people standing around the stargate.
Maybe this is some of those wormholes :D Or THIS is THE biggest webb of all times ;)

and TINTOH too, tried undocking tottaly froze, quit game re-boot and freezes on "Entering gams as" bar is full

rebooted my pc; after char selection unable to enter the game. stalls at 'entering game'- progressbar on 100%.

Same, stuck somewhere in-route to Oisio. Can't get back in, but I can login to an alt who is docked in a different system.

Ikao is also broken. Sitting doing nothing. They might do a server reset to fix it. If not just log in tommorrow after downtime.

Ikao is broken, before I crashed there were about 20 people on the gate complaining. The constellation is laggy, now I can't log back in. I am stuck at the Character selection screen (entering game as dasuri).

I created another char and entered the game; this works fine, but will not be jumping into Ikao; I hope they fix this issue very very soon, so I can get my main char back!!?!!

was travelling to caldari space and jumped into Kamio. First I had the sitting in front of the gate cloaked thing. Then only background. After some time I disconnected and tried to reload and now im looking at the loading bar and black screen...
Just to say Kamio is stuck too...

seems they created a nice mess with those wormholes. might not have been the brightest idea to link highsec to highsec ect. ... :(

I think it's a server performance problem.
When you get more than 180 peeps in the same system, everything begins to work bad:
lags, star system loading errors and so on. (This wasn't happening before the new client)
I'm confident CCP will solve this ASAP.
Let's just be patient :D

To the OP, I have the exact same issue. I was stuck at a gate in 0.0. Logged off and tried to log back in several times, only to be stuck at the black screen with the progess bar telling me I am entering game as my main. This has been like this for 25 minutes now. What happens when we come back to a blown up ship and a dead clone with all our implants lost? Can we get them back?
