Dont know about anyone else, but when I jump through a gate and hit the warp, my ship aligns whilst still cloaked, as soon as I uncloak Im in warp.
Is this intended?
If so how the hell are we supposed to catch people on gates?

I bet it is a graphics glitch, I did read the dev blog but don't remember this as a new feature.
Try it with a friend,see if he can see you when you press warp,even though you see yourself cloaked

From what I can tell with covert ops cloaks, the cloaking animation sticks around for a little while longer than the actual cloak does. So your ship looks invisible to you, but everyone else can still see you.
At least that's what it seems like to me, I could be wrong there.

Just saw a BC decloak at a gate and instawarp, so dont think it's just me.

Then align while cloaked in Aposomething

Im no pirate, Im in FW and most of the action is on gates.
So this basically means, unless your rocking a sensor boosted inty (as stated above) your not going to catch anything.
Which is ghey.

Usually not in EC- , we occasionally get the faction fitted missioning raven jumping threw the wrong gate though
