I keep getting this message when i start up the client using the launcher :
A client update is available and will now be installed.
- Escalation 1.0.2 client update #1
Click here for details about this update.
Press 'OK' to continue.
The launcher is up to date , i start the client , this message pops up , i press ok it instals and after restarting i keep getting the same message over and over .
I have run eve repair tool , cleared clinet cache .. doesn't work , any other bright ideeas as to how i can fix this ? |

Same problem.
i deleted the contents of the cache folder in the launcher section of the game install.
- No Change
I also ran the repair tool.
- No Change
I ran teh CCP log tool, but couldnt read the report effectively enough to know if there is a specfic file/folder causing problems.
- Forwarded in a petition.
I had enough time to reinstall the client after an uninstall.
- No change.
Currently reinstalling game client via steam. |

I have had no reply from my petition, asking if there is a easy solution to fixing this.
I have however been trying to fix it for an hour or two, I have fixed this bug on my end.
The steam installtion worked fine, so i assumed that there must be files left over in the game directory which is messing the fresh install up.
I uninstalled the client again, ticking the option to remove all user/cache data, and also deleted the ccp folder in app data/local/ccp.
after this i downloaded the cleint again, and it worked without issue.
Its not a quick fix, but it might take less time to complete than a quick fix being offered.
hopefully next time a easier solution will be available.

well i for one just find it to be anoying , althou i can still log in the game , everytime that pop up message " pops up " i just press esc and continue with the logging in .
Also , my client doesn't want to remember my grafics settings , everytime i start the game client my shaders and textures are at low .... annoying aswel

Getting the same issue. I'm using the hours for plex option to resubscribe and have 10 minutes left to log in and buy plex...
Ugh.. I guess I'll just send in a petition since CCP is too lazy to address this issue themselves. |
