Ahh, comon, shiva will come when shiva comes.
Giving a specific date or even week or month when it will come is a bad idea, unforseen problems can pop up at a moments notice and it has to be delayed...
This is perfectly normal but for some reason a huge bunch of people seem to think an estimated due time is forged in iron and requires some form of compensation if not delivered that instant.
Take castor, it was first due in november, then in 2003, they had to push it a few months more than that but if its a choise between a working shiva or an "on time" shiva then I will go for the working one everytime, normal bugs withstanding.

You really have two choices
Choice 1 (most of you seem to want this by releasing it early)
"We have decided to release Shiva early. By the way, you cant buy stuff on the market, repair does not work, guns will fire at a range of only 50m & the rats can kill you from 100km with a single glancing shot. Clones dont work & your skill points currently get lost if you die, oh & all centry guns think you are hostile & cant tell the difference between a pod and a ship.
