If this is a troll - then I at least had a good laugh reading the post.
If not - then I can only have a bigger laugh at the stupidity.
And I wonder... best ships, heads full of implants... hmm... maybe not-upgraded clones too?

I'm sure someone will find you. We went to a few wormholes last night and half of them were as busy as jita inside and we entered most from the .5s and .6s.

You might consider ejecting and dumping the ships intact at a safespot instead, on the off-chance that you find the same system again at some point in the future. You can tell whether you're in the same system by bookmarking the safespot and seeing if you get the option to warp to it. --- 20:1 mineral compression ISRC Racing, Season 7 - schedule |

On another note, I find it interesting that people have found systems with other players in it. It does not seem logical that two groups would find the same wormhole with such frequency. I must have read 4-5 reports already where someone mentions another group in the Wormhole.
I'm wondering if there are rules we don't know. Something like: - 0.0 must lead to 0.0 or low-sec or WH space(to prevent Dreads from showing up in Jita) - Security status of initiating system takes to to similar security status systems.
The reason I say this is because its obvious that the Sleepers have different levels of difficulty. Some report getting pwned, others report successful sites with no losses. Based on the 4-bs-and-almost-Carrier-lost vs. 2 sleeper frig kills we had, I can't imagine everyone is fighting the same level rats.

This vague option is an option in this funny situation - but much rather someone else will find the ships before you, and it will rather be a gift to someone else, than a chance to retrieve your property :P

There are ~2400 w-space systems and there are ~5000 k-space systems.

Let's assume you lost your prober for what ever reason, but you do have probes and scanner fitted on your combat ships. Will you actually still be able to find an exit point ?
I'm assuming you wont have any scan rigs or implants and as a combat pilot your scanning skills may be at best level 4. Those exit WHs will have low sig strength....
Anyone tested it ?

There are such rules and "we" did know about it. WH space and its rules and risks have been talked about for weeks.
I understand that not everybody reads the forums all the time. But not a single guy in the whole corp who then points out the bullet points to corp?
There's 3 sec-groups: high, low, null. WH mostly tend to lead to other k-systems of same group - or to w-system with appropriately powered NPCs.
Given the high number of players currently probing for WH there is a decent chance of others finding the same system. Whether those others would help or kill you is another question. ;-)

It is properly mostly due to people probing for wormholes in the same high sec systems. As such, they will obviously end up at the same location. ---------------- Mr. Science & Trade Institute

Greening should have started trying to scramble his prober.......
If i find you, i will point and laugh and ask for monies, then lead you home. i will then throw a parade for you in Jita so that everyone can come and see the numpty.
I feel this is a fair price to pay :)
Best of luck getting out man.

Cost to buy core probe launcher BPO: 54k (before it winds down to 10% less) Cost to manufacture 5 core probe launcher: ~22-40k (and the high one is if your only only industrial skill is industrial 1) Cost to buy core probe BPO: 0 isk (heck with the number of researched core probe bpos laying around thanks to the conversion if you can't get one for free you're not trying, I was handing em out to corp mates like candies to reduce my inventory) Cost to manufacture 40 core probes: what about 3k each or so? so say 120k just to be on the safe side.
Not taking care of the above above prior to going to w-space: priceless

The chances of probing that exact WH system are extremely small, only the system security status thing might give it more than one chance on 2500.
You only have two options: Wait, call for help every 5 minutes on local, and pray that some charitable soul will point out the exit to you. But any smart neutral will assume it's a trap.
Or suck it up, burned hand teaching best, all that, return in empire, and next time make sure you have at least triple redundancy for something that vital. And what's this idea of trying out dangerous new things with expensive ships and implants? You must be insane? ------------------------------------------

As far as I know, the onboard (directional) scanner shows player ships up to a few AU. So I scan the system flying from planet to planet and pointing in various directions. I will wait till weekend. If noone finds me then, I'll make a suicide...
BTW for how long an abandoned ship floats in space?

This happened to a friend too, fortunately I found her easily enough. Not sure how much of a fluke that was but I had to scan down about 10 wormholes to get it. Took about 30-45 minutes from distress call.
