Alright, some info I've managed to glean. Just because you are on a black screen DON"T assume that it hasn't loaded your character. For simplicity Joalin loads a black screen and stops. My other character loads up fine and Joalin shows up in local, corp and group chats just fine, even shows as being a guest in the station from my secondary account. So for those of you having this issue out in space assume that while you are on that black screen that your character is loaded up in game floating around defenceless.

Fine, just fine.. I was in the game for about 5 min, frozen with a lot of people near gate in Botane, and then kicked, now I'm stuck again

Both systems are in The Forge iirc.
"System is stuck - Try later" is what I get when trying to login.

Ok, so my problem seems a little more severe:
Not only did I get stuck in evershore or whatever it is, getting a full loading character bar then nothing happening for a while; but after a few tries at restarting the comp, playing with the router, etc., my client won't even load now, shows the small loading preview window with the Apocrypha logo and opens, I hear sound, but still looking at my desktop, and no matter how many times I click the game in start-bar it won't open. Using task manger to switch-to doesn't work either :(.
I'm using the Windows 7 beta to play it, but it's been working fine on quantum rise for about 2 weeks, and fine on apocrypha since I patched it last night... It's just this issue has killed everything :(
Any ideas techys/more experienced EvE players?

I have experienced a different problem where the socket will close after 5 minutes and boot me. Now this problem isn't new, it is over 3 months old. CCP has responded twice to over 21 pages of pleas. The only thing they understand is money. So if you are having these problems cancel your subscription. Even if you don't plan on keeping it canceled it will still appear to CCP that we could be a real problem.
They are a business and they can only understand the money aspect, right now there is about 2500 people (conservative guess) experiencing real problems caused by their patch. If those people refuse to pay until CCP fixes this problem it will look to them as about $32,500 missing. That is a big chunk and they will notice it at the end of the month and will be forced to either risk keeping us hanging (bad idea, customer word of mouth) or they can work these problems out, and at the very least attempt to look like they are trying to help.
Sadly, no one will cancel their subscription and the same ol' **** keeps going. "Oh, maybe today is the day CCP will fix my problem!" Fuk em', if you have an ounce of pride you'll join my boycott against a game I love to play, and cannot play.

I got the same problem only though its started to happen just today. I have tried everything I know from changing port numbers to channels on my WiFi but no joy. I cant even log in as the server status comes back as unknown.

See, my problem is that i just jumpcloned into Jita, so no skill is going at all. And there was no warning when i tried to jump clone saying that there was a problem with Jita.

i experienced it a month or so ago! at that time i was able to get it working by clearing cache!
now even that don't work!

This is still happening.
I just got stuck jumping from Piak plus several other alliance members got stuck within seconds of each other all in different systems and regions while using stargates.
Edit: Just to let you all know it has nothing to do with skill queues or long training times. I havent touched the queues yet as i have 25 hours left on the skill I'm training. |
