Ha ha, thats funny! Well done for finding that. Ahhh, the number of girlfriends and fiance's that have dumped me for ignoring them when on my computer is unreal. They called ME boring, but I put it to you, if they weren't so boring, would I have been spending so much time rotting playing internet games?

I think you have to have your priorities and either get used to nagging/huffing or let them leave the relationship when their ready.

i found a very easy way to keep mine quiet... made sure her pc could play eve then said "ill get you a trial account and see how you like it." i now have hours of fun with her and my normal life. then when i want to play eve, she plays with me. i actualy do have to say my girlfriend rocks lol.

Yep ive had aggro with g/f's and computer games in the past. I've tried/been forced to tone down the gaming but subconsciously it just made me unhappy...which inturn affected the relationship anyway so u cant win.
What always got me was how they'd call me sad yet sat there watching mind numbing s*** tv for hours on end ...its a power thing.

Games used to be something where you would play them to win and boom your done.
Now some of them dont really end (EVE) and there is actually people to talk to.
While some people belive playing on the computer is anti social you probally talk to more people on a game now then you ever would in real life. They just think your anti social because your in youre in the room or something all the time.
infact most people who belive computers are anti social will watch large ammounts of TV. This is by far less social than talking to others online. A usuall coversation debate when someone talks to me will usually go along these lines.
Someone:Why do you play on the computer all day maybe you should get out more!
Me:What do you do when you have free time?
Someone:...I work.
Me:I do too but what about when you get home after work?
Someone:Watch TV or go outside...
Me:First TV is less social then a computer and second I would go outside and do something if I have something to do. I will tend to race my Nitro cars in a social setting doesnt mean I can do it every day.
Someone:....I play sports
Me:good for you.
My solution is try to get your girl friend intrested in a game or show her how easy it is to talk with people online and how fun it can be. If she doesnt like it just save some time to do the stuff she wants to do..
