Has anyone else been having a problem with the scanner recently? It seems that the update time is way too slow. Such as while I'm on a mission pirates will come out and start shooting at me and not showing up on the scanner, plus once I kill them the cargo is not showing up.
Once I completed the mission I started to fly back to the home base and the scanner had not updated at all. I still saw the astroids at 135m, the location of where they were during the mission. A quick click to the name tab and back to the Auto tab foced the update.
Any idea why this is happening? Should I attempt to clear my cache or something?

Make sure your scanner is on its automatic setting. I find that if I have it set on something like 'range' it only updates when I click it.

I restarted EVE and it seems to be working ok now. Maybe there was some type of infanate loop going on in the code that was keeping it from being updated. Who knows.
