I used to use amarr cruisers but there poo for pirating in so im gonna use a blackbird.. using a kessie atm

I use a range of ships it depends on what i feel like i want to go pirate... e.g. BS or Indies or Cruisers n stuff. Theres no 1 ship to pirate in lots of different situations call for different tactics... theres many more ways to pirate than i'm sure you'll belive

ive tried it in all of them. frigates provide the most fun though since its a risky thing to fly. having 2 bs and 2 cruisers firing at you whilst launching drones as you mwd away with 16% hull is exhilarating!

Blasterthron, baby. You can take him down fast. Convo for ransom and point out that you have won. You do not have enough cap/defense on it to keep firing and repairing at the same time. So the idea is to take him down to low armor fast. Usually when you point out that there is no way for your victim to win, they stop firing.
Of course this is only true for BS. The lower ships dont even stand a chance.

Against Other Industrials, Frigs, and low-tech Cruisers, I use a Celestis (Frigate's worst nightmare when properly armed).
Against Cruisers and low-tech Battleships, I use a Blasterrax.
Against most Battleships, it varies what I fly but I'm not foolish enough to do it alone until I can fly a BS.
I keep a teddy bear in my pod with me. A teddy bear with sharp teeth, massive claws, and a pinache for eating the flesh of podded corpses. I call him "Fuzzy". |
