Tyrrax Thorrk Amarr Guiding Hand Social Club	Posted - 2009.03.13 00:41:00 - [1] So today GH-SC had an planned to steal a Nyx and kill a Wyvern, we had a well placed (0 skillpoint) spy in a certain Sylph Alliance corporation which shall remain unnamed (just kidding it's Eve Unity) Our hero had managed to get pos config roles a couple of weeks earlier by pretending he wanted to put up a research POS, apparently his never flying anything but a velator and not bothering to actually do so did not raise any red flags. We were originally planning on stealing the current CEO's Wyvern, but alas he never seemed to place it in the capital ship maintenance array at their POS in S25, so we kinda gave up on that idea, then they started building a Nyx in the CSAA there, and we decided to try to steal it and kill/ransom his Wyvern in one fell swoop ! I scheduled a corp Wyvern killing op for when the build completed (19:11 13.2.2009) and my delightful slave Hamish positioned himself in system in a cheetah to ship scan the Wyvern and with luck fly the Nyx out of there. Unfortunately only 4 people showed up for the op >_< apparently this isn't our strongest timezone ;( Anyway the Nyx finishes building but its pilot doesn't show up, so it's simply left undelivered. Thanks to shoddy advice from Proxay and our complete ignorance regarding anything industry related (THANKS AGAIN PROXAY) we were under the impression that you needed the factory manager role to deliver a ship built in a CSAA, this apparently was not the case as our spy discovered when he accidentally delivered the job (the builder had foolishly set the output hangar to a relatively low-security one that our spy had access to) We weren't really ready to steal it tho, but they had noticed the job being delivered, so we had to hurry, he assembled the Nyx into the CSMA, launched all the ships in the CSMA and SMA and offlined the POS, he then went through the jump bridge to E-YJ, launched their SMA ships there and offlined that POS too, meanwhile Hamish warped to the Nyx and boarded it, scooping a couple of ships while he was at it. The few online operatives hopped in interceptors and headed over to steal whatever ships they could, but the POS in e-yj was quickly reonlined so we didn't get any of those ships. Meanwhile back in S25 their CEO had logged back on in his Wyvern at the POS where the Nyx had been built and unfortunately Hamish was greedily still scooping ships there, the quick thinking killmc put all his fighters on the recently stolen and unfitted Nyx, which warped off seconds too late to cycle safespots. I scrambled to fly over in a (stolen) falcon with a cyno gen fitted so we could bring a carrier in to give Hamish some Oxygen Isotopes and a cloak, but alas I was intercepted on the way through providence by a rare gatecamp and brutally murdered, welp. ;[ Meanwhile Hamish was being pounded by fighters and made a silly attempt at using their jumpbridge to leave system (I knew this wouldn't work, but oh well worth a shot, at this point he was in about 30% structure..) Just as he was about to warp back to a safespot and then into the POS shields the Sylph Aliance gang that had been attempting to probe down / tackle him showed up and managed to land a tackle, he was quickly destroyed and podded. We did manage to retrieve the ships he'd scooped from their POS and his cheetah, since he'd left those at a safespot and nobody bothered to probe them down. This was (however briefly) our fourth mothership stolen, and quite possibly the shortest lived mothership yet in EVE ? So thanks for the 6.3 billion ISK insurance payout, the laughs, the Astarte and whatever else I'm forgetting [:) Kudos for killmc's fast thinking in getting fighters on the Nyx and grats to the Devoter pilot who eventually landed the tackle ! Tyrrax Thorrk Amarr Guiding Hand Social Club	Posted - 2009.03.13 17:18:00 - [33] it didn't really matter since we had no way of knowing it wouldn't deliver to a secure hangar, if we'd really cared all that much we coulda setup our own pos and tested it plan was basically to wait til they put it i the csma themselves, but our spy got ahead of himself before we were anywhere near ready and was unexpectedly able to deliver the job ;P We should've already had some fuel in system, hell a logged off carrier for that matter so i totally agree it was a shoddy, haphazard badly organized and in many many ways bungled effort

I am very glad that you posted about this as I was going to foot the blame, one of their members (un-named) contacted me yesterday believing me to be the organiser of this. Can I just say "funny as ****" lol..... Good job I aint the CEO anymore eh!! Thats the only downside to trusting people in this game....I also made about 3 Bill from them when I split, so must be hurting a little bit now eh? Eragon Out!

Fast forward a couple weeks and GHSC is robbing Sylph and roaming in Providence. Is there some bizarre loyalty to the role-players (which I could understand considering the history of TT and others) or was it part of some plan? And no I don't feel like linking the thread I referenced that would require effort

They thought I was a spy / corp thief / whatever, and decided to pop my Hulk. I bought the account, but it wasn't enough for them. History of a character they said. After contacting the guy I bought the account from, he told me what really happend and well.. let me put it like this. Biggest noobs I have ever found in EvE online! And I just to have a alt in Sniggwaffe. Good job GH-SC! You made me a happy man. As far that is possible in video games.
