Edit: Actually on a constructive basis it's a shame they didn't wait a couple of weeks before releasing the box set after the upgrade. The new boxies are going to be disappointed and quit. Think of all the lost loot  Meh, probably T1 crap anyway

No matter how much you test a patch these things will still happen. Its almost a pure mathmatical fact of MMOG style games and Software Engineering.
Just be patient and be happy with the fact that yes the server was iffy but the game was for the most part working and you could get on and train and stuff.
Oh and most other games are even worse for patch week so i say
GOOD WORK CCP 
at least some people understand how these things work and support you |

Let the man investigate the problem there is nothing worse than being hassled whilst troubleshooting an issue.
He is probably more concerned with having it fixed before stating what actually happened. |

lol at the billion and one high-speed congestion warnings.
EDIT: Bwuh? I warp into my half-finished mission to find my 5 *light t2* drones intact and no *battleship* npcs anywhere to be seen. Looks like I wasn't needed.
EDIT2: Actually, I think the mission just reset back to the start, as I've just been jumped by a small armada of npc battleships. My swarm of T2 lights can take down a 400k battleship by themselves though, they did it earlier. |

Believe me, i know the feeling! I fully understand that by entering wormhole space your accepting the risks, but this is kinda one of those unforeseen occurrences... im kinda worried ...

Well...I guess there are different levels of "back up". Always thought that would be like "kinda pregnant" or "kinda dead".

Wasn't there a similar thing after REV II where the server would lag to hell after a few hours, reboot, rinse and repeat. If I remember rightly it was something to do with database/memory/leak thing (technical description I know).
