Before the latest expansion my nvidia drivers had minor errors, mainly when i was in fullscreen mode the driver would stop responding etc. Typical symptoms of the nvkldm whatever driver error. Sometimes if I left the game idle for too long in the station it would crash as well. However now I get maybe a random amount of minutes before it crashes in station on low settings and on high i get 1maybe 5 at max. Outside of the station it is fine as long as I don't have eve in full screen. The exception was when I had one random driver crash while in space. It's hard to play eve when anytime i dock up i have to race against time to get things done before i crash. Anyone have a solution for my problem, maybe a stable driver? I have tried on max, min gfx, fullscreen and windowed. The driver just doesn't like eve.
These are my specs: 2x xfx 8800 GTX cards 180.48 Driver version

Same problem with my 8800 GTX. Every time it crashes my drivers, gives me BSOD, and sometimes corrupts my drivers. I've had to clean out the registry and reinstall drivers a few times now. I know it is EVE doing it because all of my other games work fine still, including games with far mor demanding graphics requirements (i.e. Crysis). I'd like to see this fixed sometime soon, I miss my pewpew :(

If you guys are having this problem with VISTA I suggest you use the Driver sweeper. It seems that Vista doesn't uninstall drivers properly... I had this problem for a month after I updated my drivers. I even tried 5 different version of drivers, tried to install the driver with windows update only and i tried to install the driver with the device manager with the .inf, NOTHING worked.
After using the driver sweeper, I didn't encounter the problem again, over 1 month without a glitch. Now I'm running the 182.08 driver.

Interval One. Turn it on.
Really, VSync should be mandatory on these newer and faster cards. There is no reason for the framebuffer to go that fast. ____________________ CCP: Catering to the cowards of a cold, harsh universe since November, 2006. |

This. And disable SLI if Interval One doesn't help. I have no problems with the latest official drivers (and default settings). (No HDR, no Bloom, with Shadows)
