I cant remember the old Elite tunes, which one is it do you think on the Jukebox ? Id like to listen and see if it starts the memory tumbling back.
Incidently - now we have the music unpacked into a folder nicely for us to peruse with any old software without having to unpack it - does anyone have a list of the number/corresponding tune title available ?

edit : Hmm they dont seem to play in winamp anyway.
I have not been able to find a single program that will play them.
But, yeah. These forums seriously need some indicator that the post has ended and the sig has started. |

each time when i listen to the music. it all sounds the same, so i turn it off, and have my own play in the background. As for the combat music, I only like 2 of them, and I also have them play in the background. ---

to play them you need the ogg vorbis codec, it's open source should be easy to find

I have the codec, I can play other .ogg files, including the old sound files ripped from the game.
I've tried MPUI, WMP, VLC Media player, Audacity and some other ogg-only player that I can't remember the name of. These things just don't want to be recognized by anything.

IMHO CCP added DRM to the OGG, KK THX BYE.
I think Hallur or CCP want you to pay (i.e., subscribe to the game) in order to listen to the music. If they put every song on sale somewhere, I would pay for the ones I didn't already rip. |
