Wormholes were an addition to the exploration profession. If you can't tolerate having to scan through the crap to get to the gold, gtfo back to your missions.

Erm, why? A little bit of common sense and knowledge of the scanning system and this is already in game.
When bookmarked/warped to, it shows up on solar system map. If you see a sphere and it passes through the site you've already BMed, ignore it. If you see a circle which passes through the site, again, ignore it. If you see two points, one of which is on (or right next to, loldeviation), ignore it.

What's the problem? You're supposed to get stuck in w-space if you come in unprepared.

So can we get some testimony from someone who was stuck in w-space for days who could be assed to bring along a dedicated prober -and- have other ships with supporting core probe launchers?
I've led corp ops all around w-space. Admittedly when you get into deeper w-space it gets harder, but it still only took 30 mins to an hour to find our way out.
If 50+ sites is true (And experience tell me that it's bull****. You're probably including anomalies, ships, or multiple hits on the same target (happens when 3 probes overlap). If, however, there legitimately are 50 COMPLETELY SEPARATE COSMIC SIGNATURES then I could see a -slight- nerf. Maybe.

As I said above, that's already easy. On that small of a scan, deviation is going to be minimal, so unless the hit passes almost right through something you've already been to, it's new.

All I'm seeing in this thread is whining. If they removed some wormhole grav sites, then they'd just increase the difficulty of the current ones to scan down. You're not supposed to have an incredibly easy time scanning out wormholes, period.

Only gravimetric/ladar sites have large clouds that decloak covops

being able to find a wormhole out within 5 minutes due to being able to totally filter out all other sites? **** no.
