There is a site that is using eve-online graphics for there banner, to advertise for another game for there "clan" site. I just hope the game DEVs see this, and bring it to justice. I don't think eve-online graphics should be used for "freelancer" eve-online is a game on it's own, and needs to be shown a little more respect.

I dont think the devs can do much about it
but still seeing ppl trying to pass eve material of as freelancer kinda makes yea fell sick dosnt it

Thanks for the heads up. The proper people at CCP have been informed of this site and what is going on.
For those that are thinking about visiting the site and leaving some not-so-nice messages in the guestbook or on their forums, please don't do so. Let's make a statement and show how mature the EVE player base is. Thanks!

Thanks for the heads up. The proper people at CCP have been informed of this site and what is going on.
For those that are thinking about visiting the site and leaving some not-so-nice messages in the guestbook or on their forums, please don't do so. Let's make a statement and show how mature the EVE player base is. Thanks!

didnt we have a website do this a few months ago? a baltant ripoff of the eve site, mabye the eve site is just some standard template :-p

Thanks for the respect ;) .. though i must thank you for getting this link to us, we don't want to escalate this to become a spamfest like with the other unfortunate website that had to endure no less than 5000 emails from either customers, ****mailinglists and whatelseyoudontwant ...
So this is my call, to you guys ... not to spam, not to post in their forums, not to sign their guestbook to morally destroy whatever dignity is left of these guys, especially not with the nickname "eve-online" or "ccp-ceo" or whatmaynot.
I'm not going to lock this thread, I recon we're all grown ups here and you at least understand my/our stance on this.
