I live in the US, on the Pacific Coast. By the time I get off of work and log on, it seems like all the plexes have been scanned and cleaned out by Euro users. Now, I am not blaming them for that, but, I think it would be nice if plexes generated at random times throughout the day, rather than all at boot-up, so other people could have a chance to find some...
Any hope of this happening??

Wake up two-three hours before work and do them right after the DT. *-*^-^*-*^-^*-*^-^*-*^-^*-*^-^*-*^-^*-*^-^*-*^-^*-*^-^*-*^-^ By the way, I am an Ishtar and T2 sentries fan. Fight to make the sentry damage rig work for all drones. |

You think they only spawn at DT?
My findings say otherwise.
But, yeah. These forums seriously need some indicator that the post has ended and the sig has started. |

Yeah but does it just apply to plexes, or all the other types as well? You buy the land...you get the Indians. ~~~David Lee Roth |

Edited by: Dr Clay on 15/03/2009 11:37:45 How do you find plexes using only core probes?
There's no way to filter for them in the scanner as far as I can tell?
It always comes down to needing a good signature after which you find out it's a grav site... :[

Plexes are unknowns just like wormholes.
But, yeah. These forums seriously need some indicator that the post has ended and the sig has started. |

Then he'll run into competition with the Australian players. :P (DT is their PT)

well i know personally that before the new expansion not that many people did exploration around where we hang out and you could almost always find a sig nearby. now im lucky to find a crappy one if any at all. and im out in decent 0.0 space. im sure the OP just meant sigs in general. now that more and more people are doing exploration there just isn't enough to go around. if the devs could work on something to make it more balanced through the time zones that would be awesome.

give it time people will get sick of it and go back to what they were doing previously. I'm one of the Aussies that get to scan straight after DT so i'm probably to blame But then we have DT from 9pm to 10pm every frakkin night so we should get something

AFAIK, when a cosmic sig site is completed (despawns), it is immediately respawned in some random location (dependent on its respawn rules) in a region. That's why in the pre-Apoc system, you could multispec a system earlier in the day and find nothing and then later that day find something there. This still applies in Apoc.
What this should mean is that the spawns in popular systems do get despawned early after DT, eventually, like with FW plexes, a lot of the sites may migrate to out of the way systems. Get off the beaten path and you might have better luck.

I'm in the mountain time zone, the lack of plexes was onordinately bad this weekend. I had gotten into a number of WH's early in the week after the patch, lots of green dots with even one core probe out.
During the weekend though, couldn't find one, but was able to hone my scanning skills. I surmise a huge jump in those exploring is the main culprit.
Folks wished for some exploration love, and as they say, be careful what you wish for.
